Research

As a neurodivergent, queer, and disabled woman, my research interests span a wide range of topics. I have written on everything from pastoral care for those experiencing adverse prenatal diagnoses to Autism and purity culture; from the Body in early church history to my Values Based Integrative Process for recovering an authentic sense of self. My MDiv thesis was on Communion through the lens of Universal Design and I write, teach, preach, and train on topics related to disability, theology and the church.

While I am wholeheartedly committed to engagement with the peer reviewed publishing process, from time to time there will be pieces that do not translate readily into that format. These will be published – at least for the time being – as blogposts here on the site. Please feel free to cite these works as is, or to contact me for more information, if you are interested in working with these ideas.
